The fourth incarnation of Diageo's Port Ellen Special Releases. This time we have a 25 Year Old bottling, which, thanks to the use of refill casks, created a signature style that marries delicate fruitiness with classic maritime notes, as such Port Ellen whiskies develop very well over time, as this expression demonstrates. The smallest release out of the first 4 releases with only 5100 bottles originally available. This is bold, powerful and peaty with notes of pepper, spices and nuts. This is one of the most difficult bottles to find in the Port Ellen annual release series so get this one while it's still available!
