A classic Glenlivet, this is sweet and honeyed on the palate with Highland toffee, shortbread biscuit and Chantilly cream. The sweetness is balanced by poached pear, apples, baking spices and oak Official Tasting Notes Colour: Full, rich, golden. Nose: A hint of spice over a very Speyside nose of sweetness and malty aromas. Quite full-bodied for Glenlivet. Palate: Full-bodied, sweetness of creamy toffee, and summer fruits of plums and pears, with maturity shown by some oaky spice. Finish: Full, peppery, spicy, mature.
