The third of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases. Distilled in 1979 and bottled 24 years later in 2003, this has been bottled at cask strength and limited to 9,000 bottles. A seldom-seen whisky that is immensely rare and collectible. Grassy and lemon zest aromas lead to a powerful palate with oak and pepper along with lots of maritime and smoky notes. An extremely long finish to round things off.
