Producer Established in 1761, G&J Greenall is the oldest continuous distiller of London Dry Gin in the world. The long history of this world renowned gin started when Thomas Dakin purchased a distillery on Bridge Street in Warrington, England, and made his first batch of gin. Darkin’s gin was unlike the other poor quality spirits sold in the gin shops of London. He worked hard to ensure his gin was of the highest quality, a gin that would satisfy the thirst of the discerning wealth of travelers passing through Warrington on their way to and from London by stagecoach.
