A rare treat awaits with this amazing Tomatin 33 year old single cask whisky from independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail. Part of there Connoisseurs Choice Range this Highland whisky distilled way back in 1988 using refill hogshead casks makes it an excellent addition to any whisky lovers collection. Nose: Aromas of Lemon peel and Poached pears give way to orange marmalade. Vanilla pod comes to the fore alongside red apple and soft charred oak. Taste: Rich citrus zest and soft banana notes complement sweet honey. Toasted hazelnuts develop, accompanied by milk chocolate and brown sugar. Finish: A medium-bodied finish with lingering notes of baked apples, subtle white pepper and mature oak.
