Glencadam Reserva de Porto Branco was distilled in 2006 and matured initially in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, before being finished in White Port barrels sourced from Portugal. The White Port barrels perfectly compliment Glencadam Single Malt adding depth and complexity to the Whisky. Limited release of only 3,684 bottles, each individually numbered. Nose: Bright aromas of red berry fruits, Victoria sponge cake, acacia honey and stewed rhubarb with rose water and violet highlights. Palate: Juicy strawberry and summer fruit pudding followed by redcurrant jelly, ruby chocolate and key lime pie with a pink peppercorn and cedar warmth. Finish: Fresh waffles and syrup with berry coulis and impressions of black forest gateaux fading to a long, wood spice linger.
