La Diablada is a vintage blend or acholado made in the cellar with our proprietary family recipe of Moscatel, Italia and Quebranta, reminiscent of the dance whose name it takes, sweet like the angels and spicy like the devil. Super fine drink. Sweeter. Smoother. Stranger. There is nothing like it on the planet. Made from a luxurious first grape pressing, it is the only vintage Pisco with the equivalent of 8 bottles of wine per bottle of pisco. A very rich and fragrant spirit perfect for drinking straight, martinis and champagne cocktails. This 2016 vintage released this Fall 2018 has a delicate nose of roses, apple, grape, vanilla and apricot. It has a complex bouquet that gives to a mouth of black currants, black pepper, ancho chili and dark chocolate. A long finish accompanies notes of maraschino cherry, honey and pepper jelly that culminates in a well-structured and elegant finish. La Diablada is lovely in brandy-style cocktails such as the Side Car, Vieux Carre or Brandy Crusta.
