El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Mezcal is produced by Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto, which also produces Zignum Mezcal. El Recuerdo is probably most well-known in the US due to it’s affiliation with MMA Fighter, Jorge Masvidal, who is responsible for launching the brand in the US. Masvidal states he got into mezcal about five years ago. While he’ll shoot it if the time is right, he prefers to sip it while eating oranges slices dipped in sal de gusano. A mezcal from the Oaxaca region of Mexico. Notes of caramel, sugar, vanilla and nuts, followed by a long, vibrant finish.
