Made from a blen of 100% malt whiskies aged for at least 5 years, this new release is further aged for 12 years in old American Oak casks before being finished in bespoke barrels that previously held superior Umeshu Liqueur for an additional 6 months The result, a perfectly balanced whisky providing subtle accents of sweet Japanese plum. Not added colour and non-chill filtered. Hatozaki 12 Year Old Umeshu finish is designed to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate the intense plum aromas from the Umeshu cask ageing, or in a highball for a light and refreshing serve
