Part of the 1824 collection which is available from travel retail only and is supplied in custom designed packaging with a rather nice opening system. 90. 5 points Jim Murray's Whisky Bible "Don't know about reserve:definately good enough for the first team" Nose: Toffee apple, fresh green grapes, all spice, red forest fruits, dark honey, brown toast, leather and orange. Palate: French toast, toffee apple, buttery oak, sherry soaked dates, chocolate covered raisin and subtle spice. Finish: Elegant spice, chocolate, raisin, mocha and toasted oak. Another moreish Macallan has some lovely warming spice and plenty of rich fruit.
