As the sixth generation to take the reins, Fran?ois Faiveley manages, with equal amounts of passion and competence, the largest family domain in Burgundy. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws, Bourgognes Faiveley today owns more appellations in their entirety (monopoles) than any other domain in Burgundy.
Ripe green fruit. Yellow apples, white peach, stone fruit, yellow plum and apricot. Ripe citrus of lemon pith and a hint of lime on the palate. A hint of tropical notes. Light minerality of chalk and pristine saline notes. Balanced butter and integrated toast from the barrel. Great concentration, acidity and intensity. Long finish. Beautiful 1. er Cru Meursault Les Charmes, balanced, elegant and light balsamic. Worth every penny!
