The 2016 Paveil de Luze is terrific. Wafting from the glass with notions of cr?me de cassis, loamy soil, cigar wrapper, pencil shavings, dark chocolate and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with fine depth at the core and a more introverted, tightly wound profile than the 2019. 90 Points - DecanterApproaching readiness, the oak remains a little dominant but there is a ripe berry-fruit feel that ripples through as the wine opens in the glass.
