For 47 years ? even before there was an Oregon wine industry ? the Sokol Blosser family has been perfecting Pinot Noir. Since founders Susan Sokol Blosser and Bill Blosser planted their first vines in 1971, the family has pursued winemaking excellence through environmentally friendly techniques. Peach Tree Block Pinot Noir has a nose that pops of cooked bacon. This wine has a complex mouthfeel and soft tannins with notes of cherries, caramel and spice. It is smooth and round, with a hint of licorice on the finish. Pairs well with fatty dishes, such as brisket and burrata, served alongside charred broccolini, and punctuated with whole grain mustard.
