87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Grenache; alcohol: 15. 5%; highest vineyards in D. O. Q Priorat at base of Serra de Montsant, 730 meters; sandstone conglomerate with lime cement soils ; vineyards carefully managed to limit yields; hand harvested; varieties vinified separately through first fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at 25 – 28º C; blended before malolactic fermentation; aged 36 months in 300 liter French oak barrels. Deep cherry color awith ruby-red hues. Intense bouquet of red berries, roses, pipe tobacco with some vegetal notes like tomato leaves. Juicy fruit, intense and concentrated on the palate, deliverign black currant and sour cherry flavors. Sweetness develops. Rich final smoky mineral ntoes, chewy tannins from slow growth, with stunning persistense driven by nutmeg, clove, cedar, cocoa, leather and eucalyptus leaf. Mellow, rich and heavy with notable tertiary flavors.
