Anne-Francoise Gros (Vosne-Romanee) is married to Francois Parent (Pommard) and live in the latter commune, though their wines have been made in their impressive premises in Beaune since the late 1990's. The domaine is made up of Anne-Francoise?s portion of Domaine Jean Gros, yet other wines from in and around Vosne-Romanee are made from vineyards which she has bought or leased, as well as her husband?s part of Domaine Parent. Francois also creates wines under his own label, recognisable by the distinct image of a black truffle. Charming yet complex nose of summer berries with added bramble fruit and subtle spice. Notable power, complexity, and concentration grabs your attention whilst maintaining vibrancy and poise thanks to ripe, prominent tannins and impressive dark black fruit core with added black pepper spice.
