In the Fall of 2013, Heaven Hill released the 7th edition of Parker's Heritage Collection, the "Promise of Hope," a 10 year old, 96 proof, perfectly balanced Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged high up in HH's Rickhouse EE.
Heaven Hill's "Master Distiller Emeritus," Parker Beam (master distiller Craig Beam's father), for whom the PHC series is named, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (a. k. a ALS or Lou Gehrig?s disease) several years ago. The 2013 ?Promise of Hope? release (for which Heaven Hill donated $20 for each bottle sold) has raised over $300,000 for the ALS Association?s Parker Beam Promise of Hope Fund
